About our Classes

Wellgevity’s programs keeps you wanting more, our classes leave you refreshed and alert with a sense of accomplishment, and a feeling of physical and mental wellbeing.

Pilates improves flexibility, strength, balance and body awareness.  Joseph Pilates first introduced Pilates in the early 1920’s.  Joseph Pilates is truly an inspiration, his methods are amazing, some a little quirky but has proven results.  Combining  Joe’s methods with many modern day methods Wellgevity cater for everyone, from the beginner to the advanced.  Each exercise is performed with attention to the whole body

In conventional workouts, weak muscles tend to get weaker and strong muscles tend to get stronger. The result is muscular imbalance - a primary cause of injury and chronic back pain.  Pilates works every muscle in the body from tip to toe.  No muscle group is over trained or under trained. Your entire body is evenly balanced and conditioned

To gain the maximum benefit, you should practice Pilates at least two or three times per week.  You may notice postural improvements after 10 to 20 sessions.

"After 10 sessions, you will feel the difference. After 20 sessions, you will see the difference. After 30 sessions, you will have a whole new body." Joseph Pilates
