The core principles of “Pilates method exercises, stem from the movement of babies and animals. It has been said that Joseph Pilates was fascinated with children’s growth pattern and wanted to be able to influence people from a young age.
Classes are based on gentle stretching and strengthening movements that challenge mobility, agility and flexibility. Using positive teaching strategies we develop simple routine patterning to increase neural development.
We practice a fun approach using everyday language that the children can understand and relate to. Many exercises are animal inspired moves and are a great way to help children relate to the movement.
Each child will have a turn to teach an exercise to the class once they have mastered it. We believe this helps children develop confidence and learn from one another.
Children need to wear fitted clothing so we can help your child develop form. Equipment and exercises for Children’s Pilates are age and size appropriate.

Barre is a fresh and fun workout that uses ballet barre support and small props to tone, strengthen, lengthen and burn. Techniques from yoga, dance and pilates are merged into one ultra-effective workout. Never danced before? Don't worry - we’ve designed this class for all skill and fitness levels. Benefits include increased strength, flexibility, stamina and dynamic stability.
Mum & Bub Barre
It’s never too early to start feeling healthy and fit after baby and this class, designed for all fitness levels, is the perfect start to that mom bod of your dreams. Mums and Bubs - Barre is designed to safely strengthen, tone and reshape your body - with your little one alongside in his or her carrier. To help you ease back into movement, each exercise is explained during the process. Note: this is a helpful first class after your six-week check up with your obstetrician. Please ensure that you have obtained your doctor’s clearance to exercise.

We all know how bad it is to sit at a desk all day, sitting for long periods can lead to back pain and a forward slumped posture. Principles learned during Pilates classes can be incorporated in day-to-day life resulting in improved posture and a general feeling of wellbeing for employees. Research has demonstrated workplace wellness programs such as Pilates can have significant improvements in absenteeism, presenteeism (improving work performance and productivity), maintaining employee health, and stress management. The prevention of the muscular-skeletal disorders in the workplace can be prevented through improved body awareness and posture techniques gained through Pilates.
Our Pilates programs are provided to suit your organisation’s needs. Classes run between 45 and 60 minutes and can be held before, during or after work. At least one class per week for a ten week block is recommended. If employees are not able to commit for consecutive 10 week blocks due to personal or work commitments, more flexible arrangements can be discussed.
All you need is a space large enough to hold the class, eight metres squared is generally recommended however I can visit your workplace to assist you in evaluating an appropriate space. If you do not have enough space we can create special programs to suit your needs. Mats can be provided for all sessions if needed.
The cost can be paid fully by either your company or staff or via a subsidised arrangement.
Mat-based Pilates classes are non-impact, using small props, like resistance bands, hand weights and foam rollers, to assist and challenge movements. A full-body workout in only sixty minutes, we’ll go back-to-basics with fundamentals and technique, ensuring that every movement is accomplished with ease to ensure you receive an optimal workout. This class is suitable for students of all levels.
Smooth, gentle and perfect for all levels of fitness, Hatha focuses inward on the breath, body and mind. Deep, careful stretches are practiced in a combination of breathing, yoga and meditation. Flexibility and relaxation is guaranteed here!
Mum & Bub Pilates
